The Mid-America Club is located on the 80th floor of the Amoco Building, one of Chicago's iconic skyscrapers designed by Edward Durell Stone. The club desperately needed a facelift, originally done up in a mid-century look, became tired looking, the members wanted a warmer decor. Our assignment was to make it look like a traditional club rather than a modern dining facility in a downtown bank. The living room is comfortable with deep sofas, lounge chairs, wood paneling and a fireplace. The club has a formal dining room, a more casual grill room and several private dining rooms ranging from petite size, boardroom or grand ballroom.
